“It has been such an interesting and informative process to see the transition from WNWN to enuf. Little did I know that a compost internship would teach me so much about business creation! Also, in light of COVID19 and the economic challenges that the pandemic conditions have stimulated, I am impressed with your conviction to make the business happen anyway and with such a positive attitude. You make business registration seem easy! Your passion for enuf shines brightly. Well done.”

Elementary and
High-Schools

Enuf's mission involves conducting comprehensive waste audits and providing strategic advice to schools to enhance their waste management systems. We collaborate with educational institutions to implement organic waste collection and reduce contamination. Our approach includes analyzing current waste practices by examining several days' worth of waste, developing tailored plans. Through these audits and ongoing educational activities, we help schools assess the effectiveness of their waste handling processes and address any operational challenges, thereby promoting more sustainable environmental practices across the board.

Contamination level

Takeaway: School-wide waste sorting education activities were effective, and should be conducted on an annual basis especially for new students and personnel.

Capture rates of different waste streams

Overall Waste Composition

Takeaway: In the recycling stream, plastic and metal have the lowest capture rate, and therefore the biggest opportunity for improvement through education.
